The Manager at the workp lace shou ld ensure emp loyees are awa re of
the arrangement s for f ir st a id in the event o f an in jury o r i llness, the
location o f the f ir st a id kit/ s and the names of any tra ined fi rs t a ide r s.
Emp loyee awa reness shou ld extend to:
understand ing the i r ob ligat ion in respect to any first a id
equ ipment,
the notifi cation o f the use of any f ir st a id supp lies,
it’ s approp riate use, and
the identif icat ion of any need to upgrade o r add to the f i rst a id
supp ly due to any per ce ived needs o r par ticu l ar emp loyee.
